Our parent Company SANSUI PETROCHEM PVT. LTD. was established in 1983 dealing in various petrochemicals, plastics, papers, in bulk only. In 1994, SANSUI SHIP MANAGEMENTS was launched to manage M.T. PARMESHWARI of M/s. Mysore Petrochemicals Limited. The 8000 DWT vessel handled Ortho Xylene, a hazardous class A/B product with high flash point. The vessel (ex-Jag Prabhu) was upgraded from product tanker to chemical tanker. After managing the vessel for 2 years, we took the vessel on demise charter in August, 1996. In Feb, 1997 it was sold to a Greek Company and we purchased a smaller petroleum tanker "RAVICHARAN" for coastal movement.

In 1998, we purchased M.V. SAI DARSHAN an 2300 DWT ISV barge for lighterage operations and secured regular lighterage business with M/s. Ispat Industries. In 1999, we purchased M.V. SHREE MANGUESH, a coastal vessel of 2100 DWT for port-to-port operations.
